Well, we've made it. Our shows are installed ready for the external examiner to assess tomorrow. Putting together a show takes far far longer than I ever imagined...from repainting each wall to filling holes to selecting and re-ordering items to display. Then the hanging...spirit level at the ready and tying invisible thread while balanced on a ladder. And then the lighting... but it's all done now thanks to a lot of teamwork. (The show is on YouTube) This course has been challenging, stimulating and inspiring - so much to read, learn and think about. Opened my mind and developed my approach to everything including making art. The accompanying documentation is in magazine format - below - because the wearable('ware-ables') sculptures ended up looking ready for the catwalk! September will be time for a break and a mini road trip to see daughters, friends and family - once I've been to the Seaweed Festival on Isle Martin of course! Left: Model Emilia di Caccia.
