Prep for Open Studios

Studio tidy up is on the cards! Along with my 10 fellow artists with studios in The Steeple in Newburgh, I am inviting the public in to come in and have a look around. As well as opening our own studios we are inviting local guests artists to bring their work. There will be live demos from hatmaker Jeannette Sendler and blacksmith Jim Shears. I'll be offering seaweed snacks and maybe mulled wine...

It's not until 12/13 November but still lots to sort out and prepare. Seaweed and beach finds collages and larger assemblages will be on show. Am also collaborating with fellow DJCAD graduate Clare Gamble on a collection of Wareables - smaller pieces of electroformed seaweed which can be worn as pendants or brooches, ware being another Scots word for seaweed...
