Another first!

Two seaweed pieces have been accepted by the Meffan Museum and Gallery in Forfar for their annual winter exhibition. Went along to the preview night and it was fab to see my pieces displayed properly with good lighting etc - makes such a difference. The show was a mixed bag of paintings,  sculptures, prints, linocuts etc but nothing using seaweed as a material! My jewellery collaborator Clare came with me - an archaeology masters student so we spent some time looking at the museum's collection of Pictish and other carvings. A lovely evening.
