All go in Edinburgh

The culmination of winning the Enterprise Challenge was the Edinburgh Christmas Art and Gift Fair at the Assembly Rooms. In the name of market research. 

Yes it was hard work but good fun. Lots of chat and curiosity about seaweed. Shared memories too about grandparents collecting seaweed. Interesting that people were drawn to the more abstract pieces (and bought them) without needing to know about the theory behind them. One Tidal Edge piece is going to live in Vancouver!

Attracted out of curiosity and for aesthetic reasons  I guess. Comes back to the familiar advice from artists - make what you want to make not to please others. If it means something to you then it will connect to other people!
